Evolution of an Outdoor Leader
*A branch of the UMPI Outing Club
This program is designed for the person who wants to take on more responsibility as an outdoor leader. We have developed a checklist that takes the trainee through three phases of learning. After each phase is completed the trainee is encouraged to write a reflection paper describing their learning. *This is required if the trainee wishes to receive ELO credits.
By participating in this program you will not only be building your resume, but building confidence, gaining responsibility as an Outing Club Student Leader, earning respect from your peers, and being a role model to fellow students on campus.
