Boyle to deliver night of laughs at UMPI

For the second consecutive year, the University of Maine at Presque Isle will present comedian Hailey Boyle—featured on TBS’s list of 101 funniest working comics in the world—for a night of laugh-out-loud fun. Boyle will perform on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. in the Auditorium in Wieden Hall. This event is free, open to the public, and is rated PG-13.

A 6’2” comedian both versatile and tenacious, Boyle is originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, and moved to Manhattan in 2004. She has since performed at the Just For Laughs Festival, Glasgow International Comedy Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Comedy Festival.

Boyle has been featured on the UK entertainment magazine The List and by the New York Daily News. She’s made several guest appearances on Sirius Satellite Radio including on Opie & Anthony, Jackie’s Joke Hunt, and Breuer Unleashed, and has been featured in videos on funnyordie.com.

She has appeared in the movie, About Last Night with Kevin Hart and has been featured in the TV comedy series StandUp In Stilettos.

Boyle travels around the country, visiting clubs, colleges, casinos, and more. She has also made time to entertain American soldiers on duty in the Bahamas, Greenland, and Central America.
