Hello UMPI Students,
I hope that Spring Break has given you a chance to recharge and prepare for the rest of the Spring semester, different as it may be for all of us due to COVID-19. I want you to know that your faculty and staff have been working very hard to get ready for your (virtual) return to classes on Wednesday, March 25.
To provide you with information and resources during this transition, we want to make sure you’re aware of the FAQ page we’ve set up. You can find it at https://newsite.umpi.edu/emergency/covid-19-faq/. When you get there, you’ll spot a brand new “Need Help?” button at the top of the page. If you have questions or concerns, just click that button and tell us what help you need so we can assist you. Finishing the Spring semester remotely is new territory for all of us, but our goal is to help you, no matter the problem.
We also want you to know that, despite the distance, we’ll continue to provide you with the assistance and support you need to have a successful semester. You can access tutoring, advising, and other office support through virtual means. Just call or email the following offices (and a Zoom meeting can be set up, if needed):
